26.09 - 30.09.2021  STATUS

The Joint meeting for Plant and Human Sulfur Biology and Glucosinolates will be held in Sevilla (Spain) from the 26th to 30th September 2021.

The meeting follows the steps of the first successful Plant and Human Sulfur Biology meeting in Hungary and the 4th Glucosinolate Conference in Berlin. It aims to bring together these two communities and serve as a place for scientific networking in which researchers and students can discuss key points on sulfur and glucosinolate research relevant for plant and human scientists, with emphasis on biochemical mechanisms. Researchers and students will be able to get in contact with each other and learn about the recent exciting developments in several areas – sulfation pathways, redox regulation and thiol modification, H2S signaling, metabolism of sulfur compounds, glucosinolate metabolism, natural variation, ecology, and their roles in health and agroproduction. – in sessions with mixed “green”(plants) and “red” (humans) speakers.

The SEBBM will award 4 travel grants of 200 euros each to facilitate the attendance of our early-career members.

Applicants must be under 31 years of age and member of SEBBM.

If you want to be considered, please, send a motivation letter and abstract to Luis C. Romero Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. Necesita tener JavaScript habilitado para poder verlo. not later than 31st May.
